When the new National Land Policy is implemented, two important land policy changes will be made. One no foreigner will be allowed to own freehold land. Second, all leases of up to 999 years will be automatically reduced to the accepted standard 99 years. And third, presidents will no longer have the power to allocate public land as has been the case.
