Malili e- City Progress Report: New Name as MPs Call for Faster Implementation

The Kenya government has dropped the name Malili from its proposed technology metropolis and adopted the name Konza. The technology city will therefore be known as Konza Technopolis or Konza e-City. Konza is the name of the place where the 500-acre farm on which the city will be constructed is situated – some 60 kilometers south of Nairobi city and about 20 kilometers from Machakos town.
